Sausage and Mixed Bean Stew

  • This is a family winter warmer great for Halloween or Bonfire Night. Try adding a hanful of chopped black olives or why not try vennison sausages

    8 pork sausages 
     
  • 1 tin of butter beans
    1 tin of kidney beans
    1 tin of baked beans
    1 large onion
     
  • 1 tin of tomatoes chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • spoon of olive oil
  • tyme & sage (to taste)

    Brown the sausages in a large pan with the garlic and onion. Add the beans and tomatoes and herbs and simmer for 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Serve with creamed potatoes or a hot crusty role.
